JOOQFone is a social network application or widget allowing our users to make cheap VOIP calls internationally to any country. You are not charged according to which country you are in and where you are calling to; we provide you with a fixed price to call any given country which can be seen in our rates checker in the phone menu.
The standalone version allows you to embed the widget anywhere that accepts HTML. OpenSocial application versions can be found in the application directories of your favourite social networks.
JOOQFone is more than a phone it is also an entertainment centre with rich content from music TV to mp3 player, photo slideshows and even a video player. You can also upload media quickly via our uploaders. You can send SMS messages from the phone as you would do a normal cell phone or watch film trailers of the top 10 box office films.
The OpenSocial application versions such as the one above intelligently add your friends to the scroller. You can choose if you want to display all friends, your top 16 friends or only friends who have entered their contact details.

JOOQFone is available as a Flash widget from MSN Live, Yahoo widgets, iGoogle or as an OpenSocial Application on MySpace, Orkut, Hi5 etc. All versions, including our new Facebook Application, enable our users to make cheap overseas or national calls to landlines and mobiles. Look out for new mobile phone designs ranging from the Samsung Juke to the Apple iPhone. JOOQFone should not be used for emergency calls.

thanx for the add on myspace i have allot of reqwests and am holdin on em not accseptin any now but i maide an exseption for u lol
Also, not sure I understand fully how this works (and I've tried looking everywhere). Can I make calls to a landline phone and at what cost? How do I 'buy' minutes to use? I did see a post that said costs were free to all same members, which is great, but does this include a landline? If it does, that is awesome because I wouldn't have any problem with getting people to sign up with you.
While you have a very nice site, it is really hard to find answers to questions such as these.

What are our options for free? or can users purchase their own time/whatever? That would be wonderful!
You should look into libpurple (www.pidgin.im) for adding support for other protocols and chat of course, easily.
